Verdict

CLAIRE UNDERWOOD is easily forgiven her run on soft going at Pontefract earlier this month and is one for the short-list here under Sean Davis. Gossip Column has dropped to a fair mark and ran well for third at Chester while Pirate King reverts to his winning distance and is relatively unexposed. This looks too short for Billy Ray, however, while Sandown winner My Boy Sepoy has never raced over a trip this far and steps up a couple of grades.
