Richard Fahey won this last year and will have high hopes for the unbeaten Space Traveller, who will suited by this easy 6f. He makes more appeal than stablemate Cosmic Law, who reverts to 6f having failed to stay the extra in the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood but was earlier behind SHINE SO BRIGHT in the Coventry Stakes at Ascot. Andrew Balding’s grey was then third in the Richmond Stakes at Goodwood, despite failing to handle the track, and is preferred to The Irish Rover. The Ballydoyle colt appeared to run very well in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh 12 days ago but is not exactly reliable and was behind the selection at Ascot. Chuck Willis and Emaraaty Ana have shown a decent level of form but Legends Of War, Showout and Semoum will all need to take a big step forward to land this.
