Verdict
ROYAL MEZYAN showed ability on his debut over the minimum trip at Ascot when fading close home and finishing fourth. He gets the vote as that looks stronger form than Wiki Tiki's recent improved effort at Sandown and the latter had finished well behind Crowdmania at Newmarket on her introduction. Fast Track, Morning Post and Soul Brother represent powerful northern yards and should be noted in the betting but a couple of the other newcomers take the eye in this. Grande Mago is one as he boasts a pedigree packed with speed while Lincoln could also figure if his entry in next week's Windsor Castle at the Royal Ascot meeting is anything to go by.
