An extremely competitive affair and it's difficult finding one without a chance of sorts. David O'Meara has four entries with Ayr winner Earth Drummer likely to attract attention though both career victories have come on fast ground. Stablemate Anderiego won here in July but is 9lb higher while another from the yard, Balducci, ran too badly to be true at Haydock last time and is better judged on his victory there in July. GM HOPKINS faces his stiffest test to date as he bids for a four-timer from a 9lb higher mark than his Newmarket victory. John Gosden's colt has had just five runs and looks destined for Group races so this should prove within his capabilities. Big Baz won his first two races on Polytrack and was in very good form before returning to winning ways at Haydock. He hasn't had too much racing and there looks more to come so a 4lb rise shouldn't prevent another big effort. Pearl Nation had his hat-trick bid Thwarted by No Poppy at Haydock and the winner didn't get the run of the race at Redcar on Saturday so should do better. Don't Call Me just failed to concede 13lb to Ticking Katie at Ayr and should carry his big weight with distinction.
