Verdict
The drop in class should suit Charles Spencelayh and the booking of Jamie Spencer for the ride is an obvious plus for his chance today. However, he has failed to get competitive in his last few outings and is not one to rely upon too heavily. The in-form Polish Baron, like the topweight, has decent form to his name from the all weather and is another to merit consideration as he bids for the hat-trick. It may also be significant that Richard Hughes takes over the riding duties today and it would be no surprise to see Polish Baron confirm his superiority over Spencer's mount despite him having 8lb to find on the official BHB ratings. Hoh Invader, Florida and Winter Dolphin are basically opposable on the grounds of inconsistency and are best left alone today. Robbie Can Can does have a little improvement to find but is taken to be best of the rest.
