Networker looks capable of ending his losing run off his current mark and Mudhish is in a good vein of form and looks better with each race but HOBSON was a course and distance winner three starts ago and is put forward to repeat that success. The four-year-old gelding was a beaten-favourite over 1m at Chepstow two starts ago and only narrowly missed out last time. He remains 7lb higher than when last winning, but is clearly capable off this mark. Networker is without a win in two years but is now 2lbs lower than for his last success. He only lost out by a narrow margin last time and looks capable of ending his losing run in the near future. Mudhish who has thrice finished runner-up recently, travelled well on his return to turf last time and a repeat of that performance should see him at least make the frame. Convallaria has been in decent form recently and looks best of the rest. She's back over her optimum trip and is another who can challenge for the minors. Xpres Maite has won over this trip in the past but has taken his foot off the gas recently and may be best watched here so we will stick with Hobson in what should be a competitive handicap.
