Verdict

FELIX LEITER may have been green in the preliminaries ahead of his debut at Hamilton but Karl Burke's colt kept on stoically to chase home a smart winner, and with an extra furlong likely to suit, he can gain compensation. Ismail Mohammed has had a tough time with his juveniles though York Express has to be considered a major player. The filly was predictably outclassed in the Albany Stakes and while held again at Lingfield on her first start on Polytrack, the assessor has handed her an official rating of 74. Red Perdita is also eligible for nurseries and George Baker's filly drops in trip having not really seen out the seven furlongs at Kempton. Lady Maesmor ran eyecatchingly on her debut at Lingfield and more can be anticipated.
