A terrific turnout for this class one handicap and top-weight La Persiana is one to consider along with Higher Love and High Reserve, however we will take a chance with Perle D'Or. Willie Haggass's filly landed a similar event this at Doncaster last month, leading from the two furlong pole and gaining a tidy success. She doesn't always run two races alike but if putting her best foot forward today she has a great chance of following up. La Persiana landed a listed race at Salisbury last time, just getting up to beat Bon Nuit. She returns to handicapping on a high mark but should still make her presence felt. High Reserve has to enter calculations on a recent success at Nottingham as does Higher Love who takes a big drop in class having contested the Epsom Oaks last time. So all in all a very tricky contest but Perle D'Or, if in the mood, will be hard to beat.
