Verdict

Five Diamonds took a while to get the hang of things on debut but came home strongly in the closing stages once she realised what the job entailed. Improvement seems assured and she houses obvious claims to go one better. However, BURNING TOPIC showed abundant promise at Chelmsford back in November and could give the Haggas inmate plenty to consider if ready to roll on this first run since. The Lanigan yard have been pretty quiet hitherto this term but a select number of recent runners have performed well. The remainder need to find major improvement to figure with Raha and Dreamingofdiamonds suggested as possible each-way plays.
