Summer Recluse has run well in his last two starts and Milton Bradley's gelding is entitled to be thereabouts again but he may once more have to settle for a minor role and preference is for Rosapenna, who gets the vote ahead of Vindication. The last mentioned has slipped to a fair mark and has to be respected but has yet to prove that he is as effective over this trip as the seven furlongs that he has been doing most of his running over. Gone'n'dunnett has a good record here and Christine Dunnett's gelding cannot be discounted if returning to his best. Cherokee Nation showed signs of a revival on the all-weather at Lingfield last time and is another to consider along with Highland Cascade, although the last mentioned may struggle to give weight away all round. The vote though goes to Rosapenna, who showed improved form last time and hails from the yard of Chris Wall that is beginning to hit form.
