Pickle gets the vote over Red Leicester, Ranny and Come Away With Me, to name but three. Pickle has the benefit of recent winning form, having opened her account on what was her handicap debut at Folkestone eight days ago. She did not race as a juvenile due to a pelvic injury and lined up on a very favourable mark at the Kent track. She will go up steadily as she continues to improve and there should be plenty more in the locker from this lightly-raced filly. With Darryll Holland on board, Pickle looks the one to beat. Come Away With Me won a soft race at Wolverhampton last year and will need the run, while Red Leicester must improve further on her third in claiming company at Doncaster. Pardon Moi is handicapped accordingly on what she has achieved, and so Pickle should be the answer.
