The market will obviously be the best guide to these unraced two-year-olds but we can deduce a little from their relative backgrounds. David O’Meara’s Steadman is out of a Bahamian Bounty mare who was a juvenile winner on Tapeta. Eve Johnson Houghton can get one ready at home and Enduring is a half-brother to three winners but Richard Hughes’ NELSON GAY also has a nice pedigree and shouldn’t be short of speed so could offer a bit of value. Ocean Star, No School Today, Julie Johnston and The Lir Jet all represent top yards but look nothing special on breeding.
