A wide open maiden here where short list material looks to be Monkey Glas, Blue Monkey, Sanbuch and Greyt Big Stuff and we will take Blue Monkey to score. Michael Bell¿s colt did not take too kindly to pre-race preliminaries on his Leicester debut and also ran pretty green that day, but still managed to make the frame. The run itself was the best of any of these with racecourse experience and as one who looked capable of plenty more he is taken to score. Monkey Glas also made the frame when a well-backed beaten favourite on his Kempton debut. He had less excuses that day, but is still capable of better and is respected. Newcomers Sanbuch and Greyt Big Stuff are both interesting. Luca Cumani¿s Sanbuch has a pedigree to suggest that he is capable of going well here, while the same can be said of Greyt Big Stuff, although he will probably be better over slightly longer. But Blue Monkey sets the standard here and can take the opener.
