Verdict
A wide open bumper rounds off the card and as usual in these types of events but the principals look to be Achusnet, 1 Dontelldonandgerry and Mister Zaffaran and the vote is given to Dontelldonandgerry. The selection was a fair second last time out behind Flying Spur under similar conditions. This looks easier and he need only reproduce that effort to score. Acushnet rates the main danger on his win but he was very disappointing last time out. However he pulled to hard for his own good on that occasion and if he settles better here he will be a danger to all. Mister Zaffaran has shown enough in two runs to date to suggest he can win a race of this nature but he gave the impression he would be suited by a longer trip. Of the remainder Graham hails from a top yard and could run well at a price but in a race where the market will be all important for the winner we return to Dontelldonandgerry.
