SAMTU can give away weight all round after running into a highly progressive improver last time in the shape of Barman. The gelding landed a Bangor handicap back in April and Harry Skelton is expected to give the son of Teofilo gelding a positive ride as he's run many of his best races from the front. The last two runs of In On The Act bring him into contention for Evan Williams and he's respected off his unchanged mark whilst Istimraar showed slightly more last time but has yet to display any real sparkle since joining Nicky Henderson from the Skelton yard. He is therefore the one to note for any positives in the market. Little Pop ought to make his way onto a few shortlists as he's pretty lightly-raced over timber and connections appear to have put his embryonic chasing career on hold for the time being.
