Not too many make real appeal and BOAGRIUS receives a somewhat tentative vote due to a 152-day absence. However, he looks one of the more reliable ones and should be on the premises if ready to roll. He's also the only course and distance winner in the line-up and starts the new season on a workable mark. Pottlerath has only had three runs over fences after a lengthy spell over timber, but did shape quite well last time and can contend if building on that effort. Puddlesinthepark disappointed last time and is hard to get a handle on as he makes his chasing debut, whilst Present Storm's two career successes have both come around here and the champion jockey is booked. He does need to improve though over fences having shown little on either run over the larger obstacles.
