Sol Rojo, Samson Quest, Glendale and Basinet all have chances in the opening handicap but our selection is Basinet. He has been running consistently at Banded level around this course and eventually got his nose in front in February. He was a short head behind Gallego earlier this month in handicap-company and with just an extra pound and Daryll Holland on-board he can go one better today. Glendale can go close based on his second in a Lingfield handicap last week, but he is ten-pound higher than his previous winning mark and may struggle at these weights. Sol Rojo and Samson Quest both ran in a seller at this course earlier this month. Sol Rojo was victorious that day with Samson Quest two lengths back in the second, but he is now six pound better off and both horses should run well again. However we will stick with our selection, Basinet.
