In depth

Verdict

A step up in distance and the addition of a tongue-tie saw APACHE SPARK finish third over track and trip. That form looks solid enough with the first two home both winning subsequently and Ralph Beckett’s filly can confirm latest running with Prince Nabeel. Monty Man won at Newcastle in November and is 4lb higher while Ignac Lamar’s win at Southwell came over a shorter trip and the front-running Hadley Park is preferred.
