      Verdict

      A small but select field and Bahamian Lad is selected ahead of A Wish For You and Carnival Dream. Reg Hollinshead's charge ran a fair third in a similar event last week and granted normal progression, he has to have every chance of building upon that effort here if handling the drop in distance. A Wish For You has shown decent pace thus far but has had 11 chances of breaking her duck. Carnival Dream makes a debut on the all-weather. She went close on a couple of occasions for Alan Berry and the market is watched. Dunmore Dodger is related to winners over further while Wreningham has a couple of questions to answer after a below par run at Lingfield on his latest start. A fair maiden by the track's standards and Bahamian Lad is our selection.
