Verdict
Position was a beaten favourite here last week and patience is running out with him. He may well have a say in the finish but AL BAIDAA is taken to show further progress. Roger Varian's filly got off the mark at Chester in June and was placed on the Polytrack earlier in the season. She's less exposed than recent Kempton third, Grizzle, who is back on a winning mark and not out of this. Four-time course winner Patriotic can be given a chance back at this track but Caledonia Prince saves his best for the Fibresand at Southwell while Parley arrives in dreadful form.
