In depth

Verdict

JOEGOGO makes a quick reappearance having won over today’s trip at Chelmsford three days ago. He carries 6lb extra but remains on a winning mark and can strike again while the iron is hot. Acclaim The Nation has placed either side of winning at Southwell with Samovar back in third while Union Rose can confirm latest running with A Sure Welcome raised 4lb for winning over course and distance. Tan faced a tough assignment in better company last time and an apprentice’s allowance helps his cause in this though the suspicion remains he’s better over 6f.
