This is an informative maiden and one that should produce at least a couple of future winners - albeit at a modest level. My Bayard has already shown that he possesses plenty ability and should be involved in the shake-up. But his resilience in a finish has come into question on more than one occasion and their has to be the suspicion that he will find one too good again here. Easy Rider fits the bill as one of the more likely winners after a couple of near misses at Lingfield. He travels well in his races and is progressing nicely enough to cope with the step back up to an extended mile. Irish Tycoon was the subject of some strong support when he was last seen out but he failed to deliver on the promise of his debut run and he does not look to be the most straightforward of characters. Errol and Etching both made respectable racecourse debuts and will be of interest if supported here.
