Rapid Ranger has been in good form over 6f here and has yet to race over today’s trip as he bids for a hat-trick. Dutiful Son is another looking for a treble on the back of wins at Lingfield but this is tougher than the seller he won last time while Fire Diamond’s winning run came to an end when well beaten at Chelmsford. But MY AMIGO won off a higher mark last year and a recent third at Newcastle suggests Karl Burke’s charge can bounce back in this with an apprentice’s 7lb allowance further helping his cause.
