      Verdict

      Plenty of recent winners to consider but this looks an easier task than ATLETICO has faced recently. Roger Varian’s charge has gone close over the minimum trip the last twice now but is a course and distance winner in the past. Reckless Endeavour finished in front of Compas Scoobie when scoring at Lingfield and can figure again while Tropics has strong claims having beaten third-placed Reflektor here in December given the latter went on to win at Lingfield subsequently. Dougan will find life tough in this company in his current form.
