Verdict
Mazin Lady is selected in preference to Ama De Casa and Dress To Impress. The last named has dropped significant hints that she can win a race or two and is one to pay close attention to in the betting market. A mark of 77 would leave him vulnerable in a handicap but he has to be a contender in a race of this nature. Ama De Casa was easily the most expensive of these when they went through the sales ring and her connections will be desperate to get a win out of her. However, Sir Robert Ogden will hardly be destitute if this filly fails to live up to her billing and it wouldn't be the end of the world if she simply needs more time. Which may well be the case if Mazin Lady runs to the best of her abilities. The Kyllachy filly is a tough and consistent type and, as her low draw will be a big help considering her style of running; everything looks to be in place for her as she bids to finally leave her maiden status behind.
