TROPICAL AIR has taken time to find his true form but a really decisive success at Lingfield this month suggested that the penny has dropped in definite fashion. Backed into favouritism, he always looked the likely winner and the decision to stay on the all-weather looks a wise move. The step-up in trip was clearly needed too and he should go close again off his new workable mark. Diddy Man has been somewhat hit and miss but is another who seems to be getting his act together and looks a threat on the back of narrow nursery defeat at Kempton this month. The assessor has left his mark untouched - a further plus to his chance. Charlie Johnson has a useful second string to his bow in Kandy House with Murphy booked, and Irrelevant could well appreciate the return to an artificial surface.
