Verdict

CABLE SPEED is penalised for winning at Lingfield earlier in the month but Charlie Hills’ colt scored by over four lengths and may well go in again with more to come from him. Pitcher's Point represents last year’s winning yard having placed at Newcastle on his debut and the Gosden colt is preferred to Shumba, who was still well beaten when runner-up at Kempton last month. Striking Approach showed only a modicum of improvement at Wolverhampton and the remaining pair are even harder to recommend.
