Verdict

X FORCE failed to land the odds at Chepstow last time but Archie Watson’s two-year-olds have a much better strike rate on the all-weather tracks and the yard won this race last year. He gets another chance today. Jockey bookings suggest Dana Forever is preferred to stablemate and newcomer Hot Heels while Flowing Magic, Dorchester Dom and the latter’s stable companion Call Me Cheers all ran better on their earlier debuts than they did last time. Elpheba was placed at Chester recently though still finished a long way behind the winner.
