Little to go on for us in this one, where PARISIAN GIFT looks best ahead of Romantic Verse and Orpen's Art. The selection has been running well recently and has placed in his two outings this year. Both of those were at Lingfield and over slightly longer distance. The trip here should suit and the 7lb drop in the weights should see the gelding to victory. Romantic Verse's only three races this year have all been at Wolverhampton and the gelding's two career wins came here over 7f, the last of them back in September. The four-year-old has been running fairly inconsistently since then but this move down in trip could be the change that is needed. Four-year-old Orpen's Art has been poor of late but stands out in poor company. The colt's form suggests he has preference for this trip over poly-track and this could be his best chance to re-capture his form of early 2008. The market should provide all of the clues for this poor race for us though we side with Parisian Gift.
