        Verdict

        Darkest Night landed a double at Lingfield earlier in the year and is not easily dismissed while Haverstock showed improved form on his comeback at the same track. He finished ahead of subsequent winner Flying Tempo in second, though was subsequently placed third after disqualification. BAIN'S PASS caught the eye staying on for fourth over 7f at Wolverhampton on his return and Kevin Ryan's charge gets the nod over this extra furlong on his handicap debut, though Rainford Glory didn't appreciate the Fibresand surface at Southwell last time but has decent claims on his earlier efforts on Polytrack.
