A lot of guesswork can be cut out if the recent encounter between Lady Suesanne, Katie Killane and Sherbourne is taken on face value. And Lady Suesanne is selected in the hope that the first-time visor helps to sharpen her up. The daughter of Cape Cross has run her best races when tried in blinkers and experiment with the visor on this surface could be the key to her chance. The Chris Dwyer-trained filly had the measure of Katie Killane and Sherbourne at Lingfield last month, where she was staying on well in the closing stages. A smarter break may have won her the day on that occasion so it may be worth persevering with her now that she tries something new. Katie Killane is also one to watch at the start, as she is one of the more likely types to make the running. However, like Sherbourne, she was no match for Lady Suesanne when she found her stride the last time they met and we fancy the form will be upheld on the same terms today.
