A poor seller here with some out of form horses in opposition but the principals look to be Jun Fan, Night Prospector and Punching and the tentative nomination is given to the last named. The selection is worse off with a few rivals here than he would be in a handicap but at least he is in form and was second behind Majestical last time out. The booking of Jamie Spencer catches the eye and he looks the one to be on. Night Prospector rates the main danger on his best form but he disappointed for no apparent reason last time out and all his best form on the all-weather has come at Lingfield. Jun Fan is from a shrewd in-form yard and is dropping in grade so should be watched in the market. Shatter Resistant travels well in his races but often finds less than expected off the bridle and for the winner we are happy to return to Punching who at least is in form.
