        Nimello (USA) AW debut; has slipped down the weights and this trip is ideal; goes well in big fields and one for the shortlist.

        Amaranth (IRE) Yet to prove convincingly that he stays this trip; keeps his form well and could squeak a place.

        Most-Saucy Ran a poor race last time and this is a step up in class; the canny owner will have had a hand in the placing of this mare so is one to be wary of today.

        Greenaway Bay (USA) Won his fair share of good handicaps and his trainer will have him fully prepared for his AW debut; very much one to consider.

        Risky Reef Today's mile may be stretching this gelding's stamina and this race is a lot hotter than the amateurs race he won last time.

        Bold Ewar (IRE) Has the ability to win this sort of race and will be sharper for his neck 2nd to Marnie at Lingfield two weeks ago; trainer seems to be getting the hang of AW racing and Ewar should make a Bold show.

        Indian Sun Won on AW debut last time but this is a much tougher assignment; shaped that day as if he would prefer further.

        Champagne Rider Much improved since being gelded and beat subsequent winner Baron De Pinchon last time; one for the shortlist but inexperience may count against him.

        Thunder Sky Much improved effort on Thursday when winning well over course and distance; extra weight today but will be in good heart and merits respect.

        China Red (USA) Has not won since leaving John Hills yard but is back on a nice mark and should figure in the shake up.

        Windshift (IRE) Has been tried over hurdles once since failing to win with his new handicap mark; best avoided today.

        Keen Hands Capable jockey and trainer combination but yet to prove he stays this trip.

        Masterpiece (USA) Well beaten on seasonal reappearance two weeks ago but did win readily on second start as a juvenile; possibilities although does seem stable second string.
