This is probably not a race to get too heavily involved with and what can only be a tentative vote goes to Golden Spectrum, who is preferred to Midshipman and Fraternity. The last mentioned has slipped back to a winning mark but is hard to back with any confidence on recent evidence and may be best watched. At The Helm ran better in a banded race at Lingfield last time but probably needs to improve to trouble the judge. Old campaigner Nimello is a good ride for an inexperienced jockey but is not as good as he once was and of more interest may be Ardea Brave, who looks to be going the right way. Midshipman has claims on the pick of his form but faces no easy task giving weight away all round and preference is for Golden Spectrum, who has held his form well of late and is taken to resume winning ways.
