Hair Of The Dog gets the nod over Dee Cee Elle and Keep Your Distance, with Red also worth a mention. Winning form is definitely thin on the ground in this juvenile event that gets proceedings under way, so Hair Of The Dog can only be a modest selection. James Given's charge showed promise earlier in the year when chasing home Zoom One in a Redcar maiden in September, since when he has been beaten in selling company. However, this race is so bad that he must surely make a bold bid to open his account. Dee Cee Elle has shown little in five starts, and like the selection, makes her Polytrack debut, but she is related to lots of winners so can pay to follow in time. Keep Your Distance looks harshly treated off topweight but his second in maiden company at Muselburgh in August puts him on the short-list, while Red, a bit unlucky at Nottingham last time, is also worth a mention as he tries the Polytrack for the first time. It is a difficult one to predict, but the pin comes down on Hair Of The Dog.
