      Verdict

A tasty handicap on an otherwise mundane card with Leicester winner Fabricate returning to action off a 4lb higher mark. Winterlude is proving versatile as regards trip and won over 2m recently having scored over 1m2f at Lingfield in January. He beat Vettori Rules last time and is closely matched with Barye on earlier running. Haines is another recent winner over 2m while Plutocracy is upped in class after going close over track and trip. Progressive hurdler Red Tornado has won on the Flat in France but is probably using this as a primer before a tilt at the County Hurdle at Cheltenham and another chance goes to COHESION (NAP). The latter has ran well in tough handicaps behind Watersmeet and Pinzolo recently and subsequent winners have come out of both races.
