The top pair are carrying penalties for their victories a week ago and La Fortuna has been well beaten in both starts on this track as has Culloden, runner-up to him at Chelmsford. Mighty Zip made all for a very comfortable victory at that same fixture and is an obvious threat to all though he appears to go best on that course nowadays. See Vermont has a poor all-weather record compared to his strike-rate on Turf so the vote goes to GORGEOUS. Tony Carroll's lightly-raced mare beat La Fortuna at Southwell in December 2016 and is better off at the weights. She should be at her peak now having stayed on strongly when a close third at Lingfield last month.
