Powerful Wind has a very good strike-rate and, though running poorly when last seen on the Flat in September, he's dropped to a mark that has enabled to get into this lowly class and shouldn't be dismissed. Summerinthecity is having his 42nd start but he's never raced over this trip and may find POUR LA VICTOIRE has too much speed. Tony Carroll's charge can't be considered well handicapped as he's been climbing the ratings since scoring at Lingfield in October but he's been running well enough in better company and can gain his first success on this surface. His stablemate First Rebellion makes a quick reappearance after Monday's course and distance success but a penalty takes him onto his highest-ever mark.
