Something went amiss with Mirage Mac at Newcastle in October when losing her unbeaten record and she’s been rested since. Novice winner Falcon Brook came up well short here on his handicap debut and first start over a mile but FINAL VOYAGE made no mistake when landing a double with last week’s course and distance success. He’s 7lb higher today but James Tate’s yard is in fine form and another bold bid is expected. Blue Hero has been gelded and switched yards and is preferred to Red Right Sand as he steps up in trip.
