dwelt, mid-division, headway over 1f out, every chance inside final furlong, kept on same pace towards finish
mid-division, headway over 2f out, chased leaders over 1f out, never able to challenge
led until over 1f out, weakened final furlong
tracked leaders, effort over 1f out, kept on same pace final furlong
mid-division, under pressure halfway, soon beaten
keen, prominent, lost place well over 1f out
behind, some late headway, never nearer
A couple of these stand out from the rest. Fortissimo showed a big improvement when beaten only a nose over track and trip recently but KODIAC PRIDE was also narrowly beaten over today’s distance at Lingfield on his debut after recovering from a slow start. The Haggas gelding finished in front of a horse rated 82 and should have the measure of these with progress expected. Equal Sum is a half-sister to four winners and is a newcomer to note along with the 110,000gns purchase Badayel.
