Verdict
Megalala goes well for an amateur rider and Mario Baratti rode him into second place at Goodwood last August. But the gelding has a lot to find with MASLAK on their run together over this C&D a year ago and it's Peter Hiatt's seven-year-old who gets the vote in this. His last two runs suggest he's coming back into a bit of form and he's undeniably well handicapped. Hiatt also saddles the consistent Waahej while Archie Rice won off this mark on the all-weather in June and can't be ignored.
