        Verdict

        Cambridgeshire winner Majestic Dawn returns after a long break. He has needed his first run back the last twice and is also up 11lb. Epic Endeavour won three of his last four last season, including one over the course and distance. He pulled too hard on his reappearance though takes a step up in class. Mission Boy hasn't shown much since arriving from Italy and ran a shocker at Chester but Vintager hasn't been performing badly at this level. ANOTHER BATT landed a Thirsk handicap at this grade before a fair effort at Chester where he didn't get the clearest of runs so David Barron's charge can make amends. Overwrite has been struggling on softer ground since scoring at Newmarket in April.
