Verdict
AL KAZEEM is a cut above these. He rattled up a hat-trick of Group 1 wins last year culminating with victory in the Eclipse and can be forgiven a defeat on his comeback at Newbury. The rest are running for place money if he's back to his best with Grandeur and the three-year-old True Story the best of them. The former has been competing in Graded races in North America and the latter is preferred on his four length defeat in this year's Eclipse at Sandown. Bayrir has his first start for Marco Botti and has outside claims if matching the best of his form in 2012 when trained in France.
