      Verdict

Lawn Ranger won here in August and is only 2lb higher. He also finished ahead of Junkanoo last time at Goodwood but fellow veteran CROESO CYMRAEG makes more appeal given his liking for a soft surface. The latter has gone close twice recently off today’s mark. Western Stars has come on in leaps and bounds since beaten in a seller and he arrives on a hat-trick while Khinjani was out of her depth in a Listed race at Yarmouth last month. Liseo, Reel Rosie and Alpha Female are all recent winners so this is a competitive affair.
