Gloucester, who scored over this trip at Wolverhampton in February, has run reasonably well over timber at Cheltenham subsequently and isn't overburdened. Pelham Crescent was gaining the 10th success of his career when scoring on fast ground over 1m2f at Ffos Las but is probably a few pounds high in the weights as a result. All of Aurora Sky's victories have come over 1m2f but she looked as though this trip would suit when staying on over shorter on her reappearance here earlier this month. Mons Calpe is certain to come in for support after his C&D win a fortnight ago and a 6lb rise shouldn't prevent another big run but a chance is taken with ROBERTO PEGASUS, who made a belated racecourse debut here in August and came with a storming late run to score over that 1m2f trip, suggesting that he would be even better suited by another quarter-mile.
