Cavalry Twill, Common Purpose, Earl Marshall, Fort Amhurst and Guardian Of Truth form our list of probables in this maiden, with the selection being Fort Amhurst. Cavalry Twill has shown plenty of promise in two all-weather runs and gets a good shout here. Cheonmado is interestingly bred and I guess that the betting will tell us more. John Gosden has been among the winners of late so Common Purpose, who showed plenty of promise when third on his seven-furlong all-weather debut, has to be given plenty of thought. Sir Michael Stoute runs Earl Marshall, who should improve on his soft-ground Newmarket debut, and Fort Amhurst looked a surefire winner of a race of this nature when finishing third on his mile Newmarket debut. Guardian Of Truth is another that showed plenty of promise when finishing third on his Lingfield 10-furlong all-weather debut, while Haarth Sovereign is maybe one to watch in the betting. Finally, cheekpieces will have to improve the form of Magroom, Radical Views showed enough at Warwick on his third run to be suggested as a possible and Just An Angel has something to like based on pedigree, Overall, though, the vote goes to Fort Amhurst.
