With many of these closely matched on official ratings, it's hard to be too dogmatic about nominating a selection but, that said, Mary's Baby, the only course and distance winner in the race, catches the eye. That win came in a maiden, while she has been beaten in a course handicap since, she met trouble in running there and there might be better to come. Ballinger Robe, who has recent course form, and multiple winner Adobe can be competitive, as can Waterside if he returns to the good level of his juvenile form. Dennis Our Menace's best form has come on the all-weather, as has Del Mar Sunset's, but Cryfield has been holding his form well and, if ridden a little more positively than at Ascot in a Ladies race last time, has also to be considered. Once again, it's tricky but Mary's Baby, from the Amanda Perrett stable, gets the nod.
