Silvergino found Caribbean Cove just a neck too strong last time and he can return to winning ways here today, East Lawyer and Bill Owen look the obvious dangers. The Bridget Nicholls trained five-year-old had previously hit winning form at Taunton, beating subsequent winner Brooklands Lad. When beaten last time the winner broke the course record, so there was no shame in that defeat and he looks the best option here. East Lawyer got the better of the selection when they met Taunton last month. However Silvergino looks to have improved with experience and should reverse the form on today's terms. Bill Owen disappointed last time, but has enjoyed a good campaign with three victories. If in the right mood today he should be involved in the finish. Runner Bean and Rudetski look best of the remainder, but Silvergino is at the top of his game at present and will be hard to beat.
