In depth

Verdict

A very disappointing turnout with no sign of ability so far over timber by any of those with experience so newcomer STAGECOACH DANMAN may be good enough as he scored on the Flat for Mark Johnston and has little to beat. Band Of Thunder has been well beaten in both starts over hurdles though not as far as Drawn Free while Educated Son, who at least showed a little potential on the Flat, was soon done with on his hurdling debut at Newton Abbot. Mentalist won a couple of races on the level in France but ran a shocker when fancied on his hurdling debut at Sandown though he could prove the main threat with improvement likely.
