In depth

Verdict

Black Samurai was fortunate to score at Limerick when GREENWAY MACHINE fell at the last. The latter had also been in the lead when falling two out at Punchestown earlier so, in the hope he gets around this time, can gain his first victory under Rules. Both hold eventual runner-up Wade Harper while Lessofdnegativity, three times a winner over timber including at Tipperary last month, failed to shine in two previous starts over fences. The veteran Capture The Drama showed he was no back number with a narrow defeat by Stormy Master at Limerick and the winner can give the form a boost in the previous race.
